At Kokomo Island, the Great Astrolabe Reef is just a step away from your door, offering an endless world of beauty and adventure to discover while scuba diving, snorkelling, kayaking or partaking in one of our many water based activities.

A private island on the edge of the celestial Kadavu Island Group, Kokomo is a true undiscovered paradise encircled by the famous Great Astrolabe Reef. Approximately 45 minutes by twin-otter seaplane or helicopter from Nadi International Airport or only 25 minutes South of Suva on mainland Fiji. Due to Fiji regulation, transfers only operate during daylight hours, generally starting at 6:30am with the final transfer of the day at 4:00pm.

Guests must arrive at Nadi by 3:00pm in order to connect with our final transfer of the day.

The Great Astrolabe Reef is the fourth largest reef in the world and one of the best dive sites on the planet.

Only metres from the shores of Kokomo, you’ll discover the reef’s spectacle of colours, diversity of marine life and wondrous coral gardens and structures. The more adventurous traveller need only venture a little further to encounter turtles, swim with manta rays and admire the majesty of whales, during the season. Primed for novice and experienced divers, Kokomo Island is a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort offering bountiful excursions within the surrounding and outer reefs.
